Paneer tikka is a go-to appetizer at restaurants, dinner parties and functions alike. Made from one of the most versatile food items that are readily available at home; paneer or cottage cheese, the paneer tikka has a special place in our hearts.
What is Tikka Paneer?
Marinated in yoghurt and traditionally grilled in a tandoor, tandoori paneer tikka is a tasty Indian appetiser. The marination is inclusive of spices, that when mixed with paneer and other vegetables make it flavoursome and a delicious dish. Although paneer tikka is traditionally made in a tandoor, which gives it its smoky flavour, it can certainly be made in an oven and stove-top pan without compromising on the taste.
