Brownies

SOLARA product used : Air Fryer Oven

Traditional brownies, while undeniably delicious, aren't typically considered a health food. However, when made with wholesome ingredients and in moderation, they can still offer some benefits. For example, using dark chocolate in brownies can provide antioxidants, which may help reduce inflammation and improve heart health. Additionally, if made with whole grain flour and less refined sugars, brownies can offer a source of fiber and slower-releasing carbohydrates, promoting better blood sugar control and sustained energy levels.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.

Prepare Batter:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter until it's fully melted. Let it cool slightly.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Whisk until smooth.
  • Sift in the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder into the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Prepare Air Fryer Basket:

  • Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Pour Batter and Cook:

  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared air fryer basket and spread it out evenly.

Air Fry the Brownies:

  • Place the basket into the preheated air fryer and cook the brownies at 320°F (160°C) for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the brownies; it should come out with a few moist crumbs attached.

Cool and Serve:

  • Once cooked, carefully remove the basket from the air fryer and let the brownies cool in the basket for a few minutes.
  • Transfer the brownies to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
