Coffee Jelly

Coffee Jelly

SOLARA product used : Electric Kettle

Coffee jelly can offer some potential health benefits when consumed in moderation. Coffee itself contains antioxidants and beneficial compounds that may help reduce the risk of certain diseases, such as Parkinson's disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer. Additionally, coffee jelly is low in calories and can be made without added sugar, making it a healthier alternative to traditional desserts. However, it's important to be mindful of portion sizes and ingredients added to coffee jelly, as excessive consumption of sugar or cream can negate its health benefits.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups strong brewed coffee
  • 1 packet
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar
  • Whipped cream

Instructions:

Brew Strong Coffee:

Dissolve Gelatin:

  • While the coffee is still hot, pour it into a mixing bowl or large measuring cup. Sprinkle 1 packet of unflavored gelatin over the hot coffee.

Sweeten to Taste:

  • Add 2-3 tablespoons of sugar to the coffee mixture, adjusting the sweetness according to your preference. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved in the coffee.

Pour into Dish:

  • Pour the coffee mixture into a shallow dish or individual serving cups. You can use small bowls, ramekins, or even ice cube trays for this purpose.

Chill:

  • Place the dish or cups with the coffee mixture in the refrigerator. Let the coffee jelly set for at least 4-6 hours, or until firm. The gelatin will solidify the mixture, creating a jelly-like consistency.

Serve:

  • Once the coffee jelly is set, remove it from the refrigerator. You can serve it chilled.

Enjoy:

  • Enjoy your homemade coffee jelly as a refreshing dessert or snack! The combination of rich coffee flavor and jelly texture makes it a delightful treat for coffee lovers.
