Mushroom rolls offer a delightful way to incorporate the nutritional benefits of mushrooms into your diet. Mushrooms are low in calories but packed with essential nutrients like vitamin D, antioxidants, and fiber. They are a rich source of selenium, which plays a crucial role in supporting the immune system and preventing cellular damage. Mushrooms also contain compounds like ergothioneine and glutathione, which have been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. The filling in mushroom rolls typically includes cream cheese, which provides a good source of protein and calcium.
